Good vegan wrap, I tried the Punany and thought it was yummy! Everyone was very nice and the establishment is very popular and well run! Next time I'm in Atlanta and I'm craving Vegan, I'll for sure go back and try their other menu offerings!
Good food, good portions. I love to see healthy options in black neighborhoods we need more restaurants like these!
I've never been. I ordered it online and had it delivered. The food was amazing. I had the south of the border half wrap. I also had a day ish wrap and some carrot tuna. I was really impressed with the food. It was very fresh, super flavorful, really feeling I still could only eat half of the half wrap. I also had the barbecue sauce. I don't know how they make it, but they need to bottle it best barbecue sauce I ever had. It just took the wraps upto another level. This will definitely be a must stop when I am in ATL. I really love the carrot. Tuna the texture was perfect. I wish I was able to order the kale chips and desserts online. I think that the kale chips would have went perfectly with that carrot tuna. Whether you are vegan or not, this is a great spot. If you want healthy, great tasting, fresh, and amazing food made with lots of love give them a try you will not be disappointed. I definitely understand all the hype I had heard about them and I look forward to having them again in the future.
Just left this Amazing place, I was in the mood for a Kale Salad and this place makes the Best.
Update to previous review as I had never purchased the non-wrap options. Enjoyed my three item plate which included black love stew, curry plantain and okra. I do not have the detail ingredients on each, but the creations by Tassili and her staff were pleasing to my pallet. What I did enjoy most about my dish was the fact that it was not overcooked, something I am guilty of doing, especially with okra. The okra had a nice crispness and was complemented by the non-GMO corn (I inquired) and tomatoes. The love stew consisted of black rice, which was optional and mushrooms. The curry plantain was extremely delicious and gave me insight into different ways to prepare this Caribbean staple. My companion had the cauliflower and curry plantain as well. Both dishes were served chilled. I am extremely pleased to have options that are creative and tasty as I continue to eat more plant-based foods. Tassili's Raw Reality will be always be a go to for me. The food is diverse offerings and I always have a good experience regardless if there is a line or not. Will consider online ordering in the future as that is an option. The menu continues to expand, and truly a neighborhood gem!
I had to come back as my 1st visit consisted of the Liberation Lemonade & a Brownie - both hit the spot. On my next visit, I got the Punany Wrap & it was fresh & fulfilling. I realized I didn't take a picture until after I ate my wrap. Amongst the raw, vegan ingredients the wraps, salads, soups, small plates, drinks & desserts provide well-rounded offerings of all things raw. The creative culinary approach with flavors & seasonings makes you forget that you're eating "raw" foods. & prices are super easy on the pockets. You'll feel the high-spirited vibrations in the atmosphere.
This what food would taste like if God took time out of His busy schedule to make it. Be prepared to be greeting be a friendly and welcoming staff. The vibe inside is always set by the best mix of music you needed to hear on that day! There is a bit of a wait unless you time it right and get lucky. However, any wait time will be well worth it and you will find yourself going more and more to this wonderful slice of Heaven in Atlanta, Georgia.
I was recommended Tassili's by a friend and decided to try the Punany wrap, and let me tell you, it's AWESOME. I'm an avid meat eater, but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try something different, and I'm so glad I did. The Punany is packed with a delicious mix of mild kale (I'll definitely try a mix of mild and spicy next time because the mild was really just...non-spicy), sweet coconut corn, karamu couscous, fresh avocado, and soy-free vegan mayo, all wrapped up in a spinach tortilla. I ordered mine without tomatoes, and I went for the half-size portion, which was still huge and super filling. Honestly, if you're thinking of ordering the full size, just know you'll be in for a serious feast! That said, one big downside is the service--it's *suuper* slow. Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes, if not more. The food is worth it, but they could definitely improve their efficiency. Having no one consistently working the cash register is just blasphemy. So, come with some time to spare and a bit of patience, but the food itself is totally worth the wait!
